Find Me

''Find Me'' is a memoir written by comedian Rosie O'Donnell and published in 2002.

The book, which reached number two on the New York Times Best Seller List is, at its heart a remembrance of O'Donnell's troubled childhood. It also tells the present day story of O'Donnell's involvement with a Schizophrenic woman who initially claims to be the mother of a Pregnant 14 year old girl (and later, that very girl). O'Donnell professes her own compulsion to try to rescue others from their negative situations and details her inability to listen to the reason of those around her who urged her not to pursue the situation.

''Find Me'' was uniformly praised by critics as a literate and compassionate telling of O'Donnell's story. It was repeatedly noted that the book ends on a positive note without succumbing to the stereotypically "shocking" ending that similar stories often have (such as the woman turning out to actually be a man or some sort of shyster seeking to defraud a celebrity.)
