Felix Leopold Xavier Benetton (born March 29 , 1980 in Treviso , Italy ) is the second son of Luciano Benetton . Luciano Benetton (born on May 13 , 1935 ), chairman of Italian fashion company Benetton , was at the helm of the company for 38 years. At the age of four father Luciano put nearly 45% of the company into Felix's name. In 1987 Felix was sent to boarding school in Johannesburg , South Africa where the Benetton's had a large estate. In 1989 when the War on South Africa broke out the Benetton's soon moved Felix to Buckley Academy in New York City. At age ten he began to play polo and developed an immediate interest in the architecture of the Art Deco City. In fourth and fifth grade Felix studied abroad in Brazil and sixth and seventh grade 1992 - 1994 studied in Washington DC at St. Albans Academy. Felix returned to Buckley for eighth grade. After Buckley Felix attended Columbia Prep School for a year and then moved to London to attend Wellington Mens Academy . In 1998 Felix returned to New York City to attend Columbia School Of Architecture . With a strong interest in Politics and Community Development it is likely that Felix will take after his fathers footsteps to expand the company and to enter the Italian Political Party. Felix is currently living in New York City and working with his father as Head of property development and design. Felix has also taken an interest in the Real Estate Market. |
