Fan painted the seven feet tall landscape ''Travelers Among Streams and Mountains'' or ''Travelers Amid Streams and Mountains'' (谿山行旅). It is also a model for other Chinese artists. Fan based the painting on the Taoist principle of becoming one with nature. |
