The False Death Cap (''Amanita citrina'') is a Basidiomycotic Mushroom which grows in silicate soil in the Summer and Autumn months.

This mushroom has a fleshy yellow and white Gilled top, covered in irregular patches. The bottom bit generally has stripes above the rings, and is bulbous and holly at the bottom. This mushroom is not eaten, having a smell of Rape . It is often confused with Death Cap mushrooms, hence the name.
