Exchange Square is located in Manchester , United Kingdom . The square was heavily redeveloped after the IRA Bombing Of The City Centre In 1996 . This reconstruction included the moving of a pub (by crane) to make room for the new Marks & Spencer store. Today the square is surrounded by a branch of Selfridges , The Triangle , a new entrance to the Manchester Arndale , The Printworks , and a number of pubs.
