LIST OF UK EXAMINATION BOARDS

The members of this list provide A-Level , GCSE and Vocational Qualification s in England , Wales and Northern Ireland :

Traditionally, schools were restricted to one of a large number of regional examination boards, but now they can use any (though few, if any, outside Northern Ireland choose to use the Belfast -based CCEA). Furthermore, a number of boards have merged making a much lower number overall.

The SQA offer qualifications in Scotland (including Advanced Higher s, Higher s and Standard Grade s) under a different framework.

In Hong Kong , the Hong Kong Examinations And Assessment Authority is responsible for holding examinations, including the Hong Kong Certificate Of Education Examination (HKCEE) and Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE).
