''Evil Con Carne'' is a Cartoon Network American Animated Television Series which first appeared during the show Grim And Evil and later became a separate program in 2003, running for one season.


PLOT

Hector Con Carne was a crime lord and bear, giving Con Carne's brain control over (almost) all of the bear's actions and movements.

Con Carne, Dr. Ghastly, and his military leader, General Skarr, then created a secret laboratory on an island with a bunny-shaped mountain (apparently a spoof of in DC, Hector in ''Evil Con Carne''); a beautiful femme fatale ( Madame Rouge in DC, Ghastly in ''Con Carne''), an obedient animal (Boskov here, Monsieur Mallah in DC) and an incredibly intelligent general ( Zahl in DC and Skarr here).

After Evil Con Carne was canceled, Maxwell Atoms ' other show, The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy (one of the two spinoff TV series of Grim and Evil, the other is Evil Con Carne), saw the characters appear for a few cameos. In one scenario, Mandy purchased Hector's island. General Skarr also moved next door to Billy, and has been a frequently recurring character.


CHARACTERS

  • Hector Con Carne ( brain and a stomach with a life of its own. Is often frustrated by the difficulty of taking over the world in this state.

  • Major Dr. Ghastly ( who fell in love with Con Carne and helped him out of sympathy, even though he had rejected her during an earlier job interview. She is a red-haired woman in Rubber clothing and wears dark goggles that hide her eyes, except her irises.

  • Boskov ( Frank Welker ): A former circus bear, Boskov carries Con Carne's brain and stomach on his body, and is usually controlled by Con Carne. Is sometimes difficult to control due to his animal instincts and lack of intelligence.

  • Cod Commando ( Secret Agent who can only speak in gibberish by going "blah, blah, blah" (though he did say "Hello" in his premiere episode). Almost invariably thwarts Con Carne's evil plans.

  • Destructacus Con Carne: Destructacus is Hector's son from the future.

  • Estroy (, a villain from the G.I.Joe series.
