Evansville is a city located in Douglas County, Minnesota . As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 566. GEOGRAPHY According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 1.8 Km&2 (0.7 Mi&2 ). 1.8 km&2 (0.7 mi&2) of it is land and 1.43% is water. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census 2 of 2000, there were 566 people, 249 households, and 127 families residing in the city. The Population Density was 312.2/km&2 (811.8/mi&2). There were 268 housing units at an average density of 147.8/km&2 (384.4/mi&2). The racial makeup of the city was 99.65% White , 0.00% African American , 0.00% Native American , 0.00% Asian , 0.18% Pacific Islander , 0.00% from Other Races , and 0.18% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
