Moctezuma Barragán is the son of architect Pedro Moctezuma Diaz Infante and María Teresa Barragán Álvarez. He is married to Cecilia Barbara Morfín. Moctezuma receieved a bachelor's degree in economics from the National Autonomous University Of Mexico and a master's degree in economic policy from Cambridge University ( United Kingdom ).
