SPECIALS

"12 oz. Mouse Spider-Man Special"

Episode number: 104b

Original airdate: November 6, 2005

This alternate version of Spider was the same as the original, but with several things cut out, and Skillet's long drum solo was added in. Things removed: Rhoda and Shark's conversation is cut down thus removing Golden Joe's appearance, Mosquitor's letter was cut down and the dripping blood was removed, and Shark's conversation with Fitz about the record is cut down to "don't look under your bed." All this made room for the extended drum solo which went on for several minutes.

This special aired directly following the premiere of the standard version of "Spider."

12 oz. New Year Marathon

Original airdate: December 31, 2005 - January 1, 2006

This marathon aired on the night of New Year's Eve. It consisted of the first six episodes and concluded with the premiere of the unfinished episode 7 "Adventure Mouse."

The bumps featured new scenes from the world of 12 oz. Mouse:
  • Fitz and Skillet surfing

  • Fitz and Skillet shooting at a skeleton

  • Fitz and Skillet continue shooting the skeleton to pieces

  • Policeman getting blown up by a bomb

  • Girl in Green talking to Liquor

  • The Eye tap dancing on an island

  • Fitz playing his guitar

"OFFICIAL" EPISODE GUIDE

The Episode Guide from the official swim website has entirely different plots than are actually shown in the episodes, and go with the show's general out there attitude and disregard for reality. The episode summaries here, are, in fact, summaries from episodes of the sitcom Good Times , with the character names switched, of course.

"Hired"

Mouse Fitzgerald has been out of work most of the month. He's late on his rent payment, and the landlord is ready to forcibly evict him. Mouse Fitzgerald takes his pool stick down to the billiards hall and stakes his last bit of money. He wins, and returns just in time to pay up. Skillet remains unaware of Fitzgerald's gambling stunt, and thanks to Lord Jesus.

"Signals"

The 12oz. Mouse has painted a portrait of a Black Jesus. Suddenly there is a run of good luck all around him - Skillet wins two bets in the same day! But they must choose - does Mouse Fitzgerald get to enter the painting in a contest for the art gallery? Or does the painting stay in the living room?

"Rooster"

Mouse Fitzgerald plans to celebrate Rooster's new job. But then they find out he didn't get it because he is a couple of years too old to meet Shark's requirements.

"Spider"

Mouse Fitzgerald's old army buddy visits. He is now a wealthy TV minister, and offers Fitzgerald a job. The 12oz. Mouse turns it down after dishonest tatics are revealed.

"Rememorized"

During a schoolroom history class, Eye calls George Washington a racist because he was a slave owner. Eye gets suspended from school and sent home. Rhoda and Liquor try to persuade the Eye to apologize for his statement.

"Spharktasm"

Skillet finds a sexually explicit book in the house. He is surprised when it turns out to belong to Spider Boy. However, Spider Boy's college boyfriend is only using it for a school paper.
