The Diocese of Olympia started as a missionary district in the mid 1853 and was formally established in 1910 . It encompasses 102 congregations, including 13 in Seattle exclusive of the cathedral, 6 in Tacoma , 4 in Bellevue , and 3 in Vancouver .
