An epilogue, or rarely '''epilog''', is a piece of writing at the end of a work of drama, usually used to bring closure to the work. The writer or the person who delivers the speech, speaks directly to the audience, when bringing the piece to a closure. Also in books, the epilogue can be a few pages or so about what happend to the characters after the story. For example, if the story is about a great hero who made many accomplishments, then the epilogue could be two pages on how he relaxed after his long adventure. SEE ALSO |
