EESI educates policymakers and the public through credible, timely information and innovative policy initiatives in the form of Congressional briefings, publications, task forces and meetings involving policymakers, scientists, businesses, public policy organizations and other experts. EESI’s current programs are: Energy & Climate Change ; Bioenergy , Biofuels and Biobased Products from agriculture and forestry; and transportation & Smart Growth . EESI works through a Congressional briefing series, the building of coalitions and networks across the country, and policy development that embraces "win-win" solutions.
