The eng or '''engma''' is a letter: '''Ŋ''' (capital), '''ŋ''' (small). It typically represents a and many Aboriginal languages, especially in Africa and Oceania . It has also gained much popularity among people that make Conlangs . Although the letter would be extremely useful in writing East and Southeast Asia n languages, to date it has not even been introduced there. The Cyrillic letter (H with a hook just as in Ŋ), as used in Nenets for the velar nasal, is modelled on this letter. |
