Electronic Government is a term used to describe governments who use information and communication technologies (ICTs) to promote more efficient and effective use of government resources, facilitate greater citizen access to government services and information, and make government more accountable to its citizens. These types governments employ the principle and practices of electronic governance. Elecronic governance is the 'process' involved in the use ICTs to achieve the aforementioned goal. |
