The El Argar civilization was characterized by its early adoption of Bronze , which briefly allowed this tribe local dominance over other, Stone Age tribes. El Argar also developed sophisticated Pottery and Ceramic techniques, which they traded with other Mediterranean tribes. Another important feature of this tribe was their burial rituals, which seemed to be influenced by the Argaric culture, in which individual corpses were ritually mutilated, the Skull being placed between the corpse's feet, along with swords or other weapons. |
