The station is immediately (130 m) southwest of the intersection of Griffiths Drive and 18th Avenue, near Edmonds Street, a short walk (700 m) south of Kingsway . It was built in 1985 as part of the original Expo Line. It provides services to a number of TransLink bus routes serving Burnaby and New Westminster .
