''Economics U'' is a series of Video s covering the subjects of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics . The videos are produced by the Annenburg / CPB Corporation and are run from time to time on PBS . The original series debuted in 1986 ; however, there have been several updates since that time. The videos are hosted by David Schoumacher , with the help of economic analyst, Richard T. Gill . The videos consist largely of interviews of government officials, economic analysts, and people who have experienced important events for the economy of the United States . Herbert Stein , father of Ben Stein and economic advisor for the Nixon administration, is one of the many guests interviewed in the series. |
