East 143rd Street (also known as '''East 143rd Street–St. Mary's Street''') is a station on the IRT Pelham Line of the New York City Subway . It is served by the train and is located at St. Mary's Street (formerly East 143rd Street) and Southern Boulevard in The Bronx . It is similar to the Cypress Avenue and Brook Avenue stations with standard mosaics and a closed, tiled-over newsstand. The fare control is at platform level, and there is no crossover or crossunder.
