The ''Dracula X: Nocturne in the Moonlight OST'' is the original '', as it is known in North America . All of the tracks listed below appear in the PlayStation version of the game. Additional music from the Sega Saturn version was not included on the disc. '' Super Castlevania IV '' was perhaps the game most related to ''Symphony'', in that it produced some of the most varied types of music in the series. While the rest of the series has produced music of a caliber to be praised by virtually ever player, most of their stylings were drawn directly from progressive rock, or similar concepts. The former deviated from that path by presenting Baroque-styled songs, music with jazzy influences, and even some incredibly atmospheric melodies. ''SotN'', while sharing a similar diversity in its aural creations, opts for a less dark and gloomy, but more adventurous and melancholy, tone. The composer, Michiru Yamane , created a wide range of musical types in her magnum opus, which most players agree she has yet to top, and it lends to the game very well in creating unique moods for every area. The Royal Chapel's theme, "Requiem for the Gods," consists of solemn, choral vocals, tolling bells, an organ, and a steady, reserved drum beat to maintain a flow, which reflects the somber and holy aura of the area. The Underground Cavern's theme opts for a more modern style, employing a compelling bass and mysterious, jazzy tone with its piano and distorted drums, all climaxing in a powerful amalgamation of vocals, an organ, and more. Elements range from dark strings with a driving beat, to a slightly demented piano tune, to rock mixed with string orchestrations. There even are different theme songs for the Inverted Castle. Most take on a much more chaotic or dark nature. The dominant melody that plays is "Finale Tocatta," perhaps the darkest song of the game, and is comparable to one of Johann Sebastian Bach 's " Art Of Fugue " compositions, but with a more up-to-date influence, with powerful drums added in for good measure. Yamane even added in some remixes of songs from previous games, such as '', and "Dance of Illusions," perhaps Dracula's most famous battle theme from the series. The disc's final song, "I am the Wind," played during the game's ending credits, is performed by ''.
