Douglas Brinkley is an author and professor of history, currently lecturing at Tulane University . He is most famous for the John Kerry biography ''Tour of Duty''. His most recent book is Parish Priest , a biography of Fr. Michael J. McGivney , the founder of the Knights Of Columbus and possibly the first American priest to become a Saint . His upcoming book is ''The Great Deluge'', a record of the effects of Hurricane Katrina on the Gulf Coast . He lives in New Orleans with his wife and two children. |
