''Dodgeball'' is a multiplayer Total Conversion Mod for the popular First Person Shooter Half-Life 2 . Although currently in the alpha stages of development, ''Dodgeball'' is available to the public for general use. It is currently at version seven.


GAMEPLAY

Dodgeball features multiple styles of gameplay, including an ''arcade mode'' that allow the use of Powerups and a ''rapidfire'' ability. These powerups take the form of four different types of ball:

  • A ''bomb ball'' that inflicts splash damage on impact when its fuse has depleted;

  • A ''slime ball'' that explodes on collision with a solid object, temporarily slowing down any target caught in its blast radius;

  • A ''fireball'' that ignites any players caught in its area of effect;

  • An ''experience ball'' that gives its holder experience points after releasing it.


The game also features a more realistic ''competition mode''.
