The Dodge Mirada was a mid-size Coupé available from Dodge from 1980 to 1983. It replaced the Dodge Magnum and used the Rear-wheel Drive Chrysler J Platform , shared with the concurrent Chrysler Cordoba and Imperial . Engines were the Slant 6 , a 5.2 L LA V8 and in 1980 only, a 5.9 L LA V8 .

Although mid-size coupes were tremendously popular at the time, the Mirada was a poor seller and did not compete successfully with rival Ford and General Motors models. The Mirada was replaced in Dodge's lineup by the 600 coupe.
