Dodge 'Em is a fairly simple screen based Driving Game . The player controls one car and has to drive anti-clockwise around a series of contentric "maze" style loops, each having gaps in various places to allow one to move from ring to ring. As you drive round each ring, you also drive over dots (exactly like in Pac-Man ) and you can only complete a screen by driving over all the dots. You control the movement of the car with the directions of the joystick being able to steer up and down and left and right into and out of the various loops. You also control your speed by pressing the red fire button to increase speed. This may sound easy but there is also a computer controlled car driving in the opposite direction from you (clockwise). The computer controlled car only has 1 speed but can drive around any of the loops. The game gets progressively harder with there being fewer and fewer places to enter inner loops and also later with there being more computer cars driving in different directions. |
