The Dixie Chicken was named "College Bar of the Month" in '' Playboy '' magazine and one of the "Top 20 Dive Bars in America" by '' Stuff '' magazine in 2002. The bar is famous in College Station for its Back Porch and for a good place to play 42 , a Texan favorite version of Dominoes .
