Diethylene triamine ('''DETA''') is a yellow Hygroscopic liquid, soluble in water and Hydrocarbon s. Its water solution is strongly alkaline. Its boiling point is 206 °C. Its Chemical Formula is H2N-CH2CH2-NH-CH2CH2-NH2 and it is an analogue of Diethylene Glycol . It has similar chemical behavior as Ethylene Diamine and has similar uses.
