De Cocksdorp () is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland . It is a part of the municipality of Texel , and lies about 25 km north of Den Helder . In 2001, the town of De Cocksdorp had 481 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.21 km2, and contained 195 residences.Statistics Netherlands (CBS), ''Bevolkingskernen in Nederland 2001'' .
