The Dakota Bar and Grill also known as the '''Dakota Jazz Club''', is the premier Jazz Club in the Twin Cities . Located in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis on Nicollet Mall , the '''Dakota''' is a top of the line restaurant that brings in both local and national music acts almost every night of the year. In 2003 , the club moved from its long time location at the depot in St. Paul, to its new, more accessible location on the corner of tenth Avenue and Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis.
