GEOGRAPHY Corsica is located at 43°25'28" North, 98°24'22" West (43.424328, -98.406032). According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 1.7 Km&2 (0.7 Mi&2 ). 1.7 km&2 (0.7 mi&2) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water. Corsica has been assigned the ZIP Code 57328 and the FIPS Place Code 13980. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census of 2000, there were 644 people, 259 households, and 163 families residing in the city. The Population Density was 371.1/km&2 (967.4/mi&2). There were 271 housing units at an average density of 156.2/km&2 (407.1/mi&2). The racial makeup of the city was 99.07% White , 0.31% African American , 0.31% Native American , 0.00% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.00% from Other Races , and 0.31% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
