The Cook's Assistant quest introduces new players to the Cooking skill. As a player's cooking level increases, they will be able to cook more complex types of food, such as lobsters, pizzas, cakes, or baked potatoes. Fish are ready to be cooked as soon as they are caught, but other foods such as cakes and pizzas must be prepared before cooked. With the addition of the ''Cook X'' option, cooking has become extremely easy to raise, and several people have acquired over 100 million Experience Point s in the skill. COOKING GAUNTLETS After completing the members quest Family Crest, players have the option of enchanting the Steel Gauntlets they get as a reward into Cooking Gauntlets, which lowers the chance of burning food, as well as the level that prevents burning food all together. For example, Lobsters stop burning at approximately level 65-67. With the Gauntlets, players stop burning lobsters at around level 60. COOKING GUILD The Cooking Guild, located west of Varrock , is open to all players with a cooking level of 32 or more. A chef's hat (dropped by imps or goblins, or purchased from the fancy clothes shop in Varrock if on a member's server) must be worn to gain entry. The highlights of this guild are the flour mill, two stoves, and a small supply of ingredients and utensils, as well as the Dairy Churn (which can only be used by members), which is also found all across ''RuneScape''. |
