In philosophy, Constructivist Epistemology is a view that reality, or at least our knowledge of it, is a value-laden subjective construction rather than a passive acquisition of objective features. Constructivism as a form of teaching holds up the idea that students growth is holistic and is always increasing. Constructivists lead students through inquiry, investigation, and they use a balanced approach or method that allows the student to grow and learn holistically.
