Commission tells the story of a young musician named Alex Slater who sets out to turn Universe City back to a thing called truth. His journey becomes life-threatening when he must put his faith into action and stop a sinister plot designed to turn the people of Universe against their Maker. The 14 song album is the soundtrack to the novel and is an "energetic mix of rock, pop, and funk." The songs are unique in that they are written to supoport the novel -oftentimes expanding aspects of the story, other times commenting on Universe City, and thus, our society- but the songs also stand on their own. |
