Columbia Automobile Company was created by the sale of the Motor Vehicle Division of the Pope Manufacturing Company in 1899. It was purchased by the Electric Vehicle Company later in 1899. In 1908, it was renamed the Columbia Motor Car Co. and in 1910 was acquired by United States Motor Company . |
