It is Currently also produced in a slightly lower-performance model, the 350 . A highly efficient design, the Columbias offer high cruise speeds and are "all-electric", with standard Electronic Flight Displays that do not use traditional Gyroscope -based instruments. The Columbia series is often compared to the Cirrus SR22 , Beechcraft Bonanza , Mooney Ovation , and Bravo2 . The Columbia 400 is perhaps the highest performance FAA-certified piston aircraft in production today. It uses a Turbocharged TSIO-550C 310hp engine, and can cruise at 235kts at 25,000ft.
