Colonel is a military rank of the Canadian Forces held by senior field officers. The insignia consists of four narrow bands on a shoulder board; an insignia that is shared with the rank of a naval Captain . There are also several honourary ranks and/or appointments associated with the rank of Colonel, or containing the word "Colonel" in their title. |
