Their members included: Mike Garrigan , vocals and guitar Scott Carle , drums (a former member of Dillon Fence , another North Carolina local band) Ryan Pickett , guitar and vocals (a former member of Queen Sarah Saturday , another North Carolina local band) Chris Holloway , bass and vocals (a former member of Queen Sarah Saturday , another North Carolina local band) They released an EP called Chartreuse , and gained a significant local following. That following paid off when they were signed to Cherry Records (a subsidiary of Universal Records ). They made one major-label release: "Dirty Wake", on February 15, 2000. They also performed the theme song to the movie " Clay Pigeons ," titled "Clay Pigeons: The Ballad of Lester Long." The song was a light and humourous paean to going on a murder spree. Their song "Wonderland" was also featured on Beer Bad , an episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer , in a scene where Willow and Parker were chatting. |
