Colin Brown stood in Leicester East for the British Veritas party. He achieved the second highest vote for Veritas in the country after its leader, Robert Kilroy Silk , in the 2005 General Election. Brown served as Veritas ' Foreign Affairs Spokesperson. He was a leadership contender along with Patrick Eston and Winston McKenzie but was beaten by Patrick Eston in the leadership election in September 2005 . Brown resigned from Veritas , along with a number of others, after Veritas ' AGM along with Pete Paskin , Veritas ' Youth Spokesperson. Brown said about Veritas : "When I joined it was a dream". |
