MISSION Clean Ocean's mission is: ''"To protect our ocean ecosystem and establish sustainable water management practices"'' CAMPAIGNS & PROGRAMS Clean Ocean has been running a number of major campaigns to implement a National Ocean Outfall Closure Strategy. The strategy's focal point is the pipeline situated in a National Park on the waste. The pipeline is visible and accessible at the shoreline. HISTORY The Foundation was established in December 2000 by a group of dedicated beach users who considered that it was time for the relevant authorities to be responsible and move towards sustainability.
