The Russian Orthodox Church of Maria Magdalene is located on the Mount Of Olives , in the Garden Of Gethsemane in Jerusalem , Israel . The church is dedicated to Miriam from Migdal , a follower of Jesus . Maria was the first to see Christ after he was resurrected.
