The Christmas Church is the largest and newest church in Tiraspol , the capital of Transnistria . It is a Russian Orthodox Church which was completed in 1999 to serve as the Motherchurch of the Diocese Of Tiraspol . It's inauguration of the church was celebrated by, among other things, featuring the church on a series of Transnistrian Stamps issued for Christmas 1999. |
