Like the Alpha Course, a Christianity Explored course runs for 10 weeks, in addition to a weekend or day away. The course is based on the Gospel Of Mark . The course was launched on 24 May 2001 at All Souls Church, Langham Place , London, and was adapted from a shorter course, Christianity Explained , largely by Rico Tice. Both are published in the UK by The Good Book Company . Christianity Explored differs from the Alpha Course by teaching from Mark's gospel and by teaching about grace in the context of human sin and God's judgment. The course is also non-charismatic, in contrast to Alpha which includes charismatic teaching on the Holy Spirit as an essential part of the programme. SOURCES EXTERNAL LINKS |
