The Christian-Democratic People's Party (''Partidul Popular Creştin-Democrat'', PPCD) is a Romania n Christian-democratic party.

It is the successor of the ''Christian-Democratic National Peasants' Party'' (who, in turn, were successors of the pre- Communist National Peasants' Party ), and adopted its present name on 5 March 2005 .

Its current president is Gheorghe Ciuhandu , Mayor of Timişoara . Its motto as of 2005 is ''Fiecare contează'' (''Everyone counts'')
