Chris Andrews, (born Christopher Frederick Andrews, on October 15 , 1942 in Romford , Essex ), was a Singer/songwriter in the 1960s . Today he lives in London and Dortmund .

Andrews wrote "The First Time" for Adam Faith (no 5, 1963), and then a string of hits for Sandie Shaw . They included "Girl Don't Come" (no 3, 1964/65), "I'll Stop At Nothing" (No 4, 1965), and most successful of all
"Long Live Love" (No 1, 1965). It stayed at no 1 for 3 weeks.

He wrote a number of songs for Sandie Shaw , and in 1965 got to number 3 in the UK Singles Chart with ''Yesterday Man'', followed up with a number 13 hit ''To Whom It Concerns''. Later releases were not as successful.
