Chandra Crawford

Chandra Crawford (born November 19 , 1983 in Canmore , Alberta , Canada ) is a Cross-country Skier for Canada.

Crawford was a Biathlon racer for five years before becoming a cross-country skier at age 16.

On February 22 , 2006 , she was the surprise Gold Medal winner in the women's cross-country 1.1-kilometre sprint at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , Italy .
