It is a Foundation/Comprehensive school for children aged 11-16 years old(16-18 sixth form) HISTORY The school opened its gates to children in the September of 1964. At that time, there were just blocks A and B. Block A was fully completed when the school opened but the practical block, B, was not. There were also some faults with the window seals, known only after there was a heavy rainstorm. The school had some worries with there being not enough space for coaches to turn in the space which doubled as the unloading bay for the school kitchen. EXTERNAL LINKS |
