Caroline Bliss




Caroline Bliss (born 1961 ) is a British actress who trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School . She is best known for her appearance as M's secretary, Miss Moneypenny , in the James Bond films starring Timothy Dalton . At the age of 26 she replaced the long-standing Lois Maxwell in the film '' The Living Daylights ''. She was succeeded by Samantha Bond who would play the role in 1995's , '' GoldenEye ''.

Caroline Bliss was only featured in two James Bond movies (and the only two Timothy Dalton starred in as James Bond), and her second role was little more than a Cameo . She is notable for being the only actress to play Moneypenny while wearing glasses.
