MANITOBA Bill Martens ( Winnipeg South ) Martens listed himself as a lawyer. He received 44 votes (0.08%), finishing ninth against Liberal candidate Reg Alcock . There is a "Dr. William Martens" in Winnipeg who has written editorial letters opposing Abortion and Homosexuality (''Winnipeg Free Press'', 23 April 1999 and 31 July 2000), although it is not clear if this is the same person. |
