Cambridgeshire (UK Parliament Constituency) , which sent Knights Of The Shire to the Parliament Of England , the Parliament Of Great Britain and the Parliament Of The United Kingdom successively before being split in 1885 into Chesterton (UK Parliament Constituency) , Newmarket (UK Parliament Constituency) and Wisbech (UK Parliament Constituency) . The constituencies were reunited as Cambridgeshire once more in 1918 , before being split again in 1983 into North East Cambridgeshire (UK Parliament Constituency) , South East Cambridgeshire (UK Parliament Constituency) and South West Cambridgeshire (UK Parliament Constituency) .

Cambridgeshire (European Parliament Constituency) sent an MEP to the European Parliament from 1979 to 1984 , when it became part of Cambridgeshire And Bedfordshire North (European Parliament Constituency) . In 1994 , all of Bedfordshire became part of Bedfordshire And Milton Keynes (European Parliament Constituency) and Cambridgeshire again had its own constituency until it became part of East Of England (European Parliament Constituency) in 1999 .
