Bus Upgrade Zone

All BUZ services run at least every fifteen minutes in each direction from 6:00am to 11:00pm seven days a week. BUZ routes also run at least every ten minutes during peak hours from Monday to Friday .

Nearly all BUZ routes are express services, with stops sometimes separated by quite lengthy distances. Often, these BUZ services are duplicated by all-stops services (e.g. Route 200 closely parallels the route of the Route 204 all-stops service to Carindale). Route 199 is the only BUZ that is an all-stops service with bus stops within short walking distances of each other.

As of February 20 , 2006 , there were eight BUZ services:

  • 111 - City - Eight Mile Plains Busway Service via South-East Busway

  • 130 - City - Algester BUZ via South Bank, South-East Busway and Sunnybank

  • 150 - City - Browns Plains BUZ via South Bank, South-East Busway, Garden City and Runcorn

  • 199 - New Farm - West End BUZ via Teneriffe, Fortitude Valley, City and Melbourne Street

  • 200 - City - Carindale BUZ via South Bank, Old Cleveland Road and Carindale Heights

  • 333 - City - Chermside BUZ via Inner-Northern Busway, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Lutwyche and Kedron

  • 345 - City - Aspley BUZ via Normanby, Enoggera Rd and Maundrell Tce

  • 385 - City - The Gap BUZ via Cultural Centre Busway Station, Paddington, Bardon and Hilder Road (The Gap)

According to the TransLink draft network plan released in early 2005 , BUZ services are also planned to link the city to the western suburb of Kenmore and the University Of Queensland 's main campus at St Lucia.
