BRIERCREST FAMILY OF SCHOOLS Although originally founded in the town of Briercrest in 1935 , Briercrest College (originally Briercrest Bible Institute), part of Briercrest Family Of Schools , moved to the town of Caronport . In 1946 , a bigger facility was needed for the increasing number of students, and the airbase at Caronport became the school's new home.
